Little Black Jacket @ Saatchi Gallery, Chelsea

Look at them all. Look at them all in black and white and looking good!

A weekend or two ago, me and my pal Emma went to Chelsea and checked out the Chanel Little Black Jacket exhibition. Karl Largefeld's photos of famous faces, as styled by Carine Roitfeld. It was a veritable who's who of cool today - all the, like, really cool people you've ever heard of were in it, all the not cool people weren't, and the ones who were in it you hadn't heard of - you know they're definitely really cool. I was super thrilled to see some of my favourite names there, such as drop-dead-gorgeous smouldering French film star and one man wonder of lust Romain Duris, high priestess of fashion Daphne Gusinness and aristo-punk model Alice Dellal.

Although all shiny and gorgeous, the beauty of the portraits was very much in the styling rather than photography per se; the Marie Antoinette references (French icon vs French icon - geddit?) was both clever and hawt. Georgia May Jagger sexxxed things up with a balcony bra, belt and branded cuffs. The mix of ethnic dress and Chanel was slick, interesting and chic - in a kind of borderline racist way that only fashion can. It was a nice little edit, and you can still catch it this weekend if you're quick, they've extended the run just for us Londons. Woop!

After, we got baklava from the yummy mummy-flavour market outside the Saatchi and then went and checked out the selection in Zara on the King's Road, which seems to be a little flagship all of it's own, with a delightful buy of the best Zara bits. Too bad its all the priciest too, we were merely eyeing, no buying. Then for a drink in some swanky Chelsea pub. Eight pound for a Sauvignon Blanc? We hightailed it back East pronto..........................

Candy Kittens A Levels Results PARDY

On Tuesday night, the girls at Bright Light invited me along with them to the launch of Jamie Laing's Candy Kittens store, their "A-Level Results" party. Situated on the King's Road in Chelsea, the general theme was Jack Wills meets E numbers and cane sugar; the offering was bright pink and sugary sweet, from the barely legal hostesses in Barbie-coloured uniform tees, the branded notebooks and pyjamas and the obligatory cupcakes-as-canapés. Jamie was dashing about with vigour all nice, greeting guests and chatting to press, with his trademark glittering grin.

We supped on kiwi vodka concoctions and checked out the little boutique. It is a romp for anyone who loves that whole heritage British thang, slebs, and of course, Made In Chelsea. There was a palpable oestrogen-fuelled delight from the under-21 girls in attendance, something they just might have been anticipating with the "Jamie's Bedroom" signage. Maybe it was whatever pink drugs were making those cupcakes so bright, but I did succumb to the urge to ask Spencer for a snap, #MadeInChelsea fan-style. Also spotted the lovely Danni from Fashion TV chatting to the Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model girls outside.....
