[Dublin] Olsen AW2012 Press Launch

Last night, I attended the Olsen Autumn Winter 2012 collection launch with fellow blog chick Roisin of I'm Making Fetch Happen. Held upstairs at the Pamela Scott store on Dublin's Grafton Street, we
were greeted with a glass of champers and the team took us round the four main stories for next season. It was an interesting if slightly commerical range, with knits and the more sporty items standing out as very wearable, easy casuals for the chilly season. German label Olsen began life as a knitwear company in the fifties, and a practical approach to day-wear and knits are clearly their strongest point, with other basics taking a supporting role to the more unusual wooly pieces. There were some great scarf prints too, and a sucker for anything to keep my neck and shoulders warm in winter, I'm going to keep my eye out for those. There were some yummy canapes to try too, and the team had brought in a manicurist for everyone to get a teeny bit more glam with a mini mani. The range will be out this fall, check out the website for stockists near you.
